Parking at Memmingen Airport

General Information

With over 50 destinations in Europe, Africa & Asia, Memmingen Airport, located in the Allgäu region, is southern Germany’s largest low-cost airport. Thanks to its direct location on the A7 and A96, getting to the airport by car is particularly convenient.

The Airport City Shuttle offers connections to Memmingen train station, which is around 4.5 kilometers away. There are regular train connections to Munich and Zurich at the station. Another option is the Allgäu-Airport-Express, a service in cooperation with a local bus company, which connects Memmingen Airport with Munich Central Station and runs several times a day. In addition, several buses operated by Flixbus serve Memmingen Airport throughout the day.

Pre-book parking online

Due to the good traffic connections to two highways, the car is the most popular means of transportation to reach Memmingen Airport. Due to the high volume of car traffic at the airport and the associated demand for parking, we recommend that all travelers reserve a parking space online in advance. The availability of parking spaces is limited, especially during vacation periods.

Short-term parking

The special parking area P1/Kiss & Fly, located directly opposite the terminal, is reserved exclusively for drop-off and pick-up passengers. It is ideal for short stops for loading and unloading. The first 10 minutes of parking in this area are free of charge. You can access the Kiss & Fly zone directly via the entrances to P1. If you exceed the free parking time, the actual parking time will be charged according to the current tariff. Payment can be made conveniently at the pay machines or contactless directly at the exit barrier. For longer parking times, we recommend using alternative parking areas to make your stay stress-free.

Long-term parking

The P2 long-term parking lot in a prime location ensures a quick and pleasant journey to the airport. The P3 parking lot offers attractive rates and optimal proximity to the terminal. P4 in the immediate vicinity of the terminal and Berger’s Parking are available for particularly inexpensive parking.

Another inexpensive option is parking lot P5, which is located directly at the terminal entrance. New to the offer is an exclusive premium parking lot. The FMM parking garage offers a weather-protected, covered parking space about 4 km from the airport. A shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes and takes passengers directly to the terminal.

Memmingen Airport offers passengers with disabilities the opportunity to park in designated parking spaces. All parking spaces have sufficient parking spaces that are specially marked for guests with limited mobility.

Memmingen Airport has charging stations for electric vehicles. As these are fast charging stations, you can charge your vehicles within a short time before departure or after your return. There are no parking fees during the charging process. During your journey, however, the vehicles must be parked in one of the airport’s parking lots.
